I have started to use Nokia Friend View on my phone. Its just an awesome application. The application is a mix between status updater and a location tagger. It show you where you are and where your friends are located at the moment. Of course they have to have the application running on their phone to be able to see where they are.
With this program you can have short status updates and show your location to your friends. Say you are downtown and you look at Nokia Friend View on your phone and you see your friend is nearby. Then you can just call and meet up for a coffe.
This application does not require a GPS in your phone. It can triangulate your location within your network. I think it is a cool litte program that fun to use, especially if you have lots of friends on it.
